12:18 AM • June 19 2026 IDTOn Sunday, Imad Sarhan – a security prisoner, an Arab Israeli and a Haifa resident – died in his cell at Gilboa Prison. Sarhan is the 104th security prisoner to die in an Israeli prison since October 2023. According to his medical file, which was obtained by Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, Sarhan, despite suffering from numerous illnesses, didn't receive medical treatment during the past two and a half years.
