Police are calling for witnesses after a young woman was allegedly raped in a seaside town centre.Officers were alerted to the attack in Weymouth at 2.44am on Thursday and told a woman in her 20s had been raped.The incident is reported to have happened shortly before, between 2am and 2.30am at the corner of Gloucester Street and Turton Street.A full investigation has been launched and the victim is being supported by specialist officers. The scene has been cordoned off while enquiries continue.Police have urged anyone to come forward who may have information that could help, including CCTV or ring doorbell footage.
