Forty years ago next month, James Cameron put an “S” on the end of one of the greatest sci-fi films of all-time. The result? Another one of the greatest sci-fi films of all-time. Aliens was released on July 18, 1986, and to celebrate 40 years of Colonial Marines, Alien Queens, Power Loaders, and Pulse Rifles, Hot Toys is bringing the fire. The company is releasing sixth-scale replicas of both Ellen Ripley, in all her glorious, Newt-saving best, and the “Alien Warrior,” basically the main version of the xenomorph Ripley and the team encounter throughout the film. That is, until they meet momma. First up, here are just a few images of the Ripley figure. © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow I think my favorite thing about this is the shoes. They made the Reeboks. That right there is a huge selling point for me, personally. The pulse rifle, alien egg, and more just add to the package.

Next up is the Alien, which speaks for itself. © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow © Hot Toys/Sideshow This has interchangeable arms, interchangeable mouths, and so much more. Perfect to come up with the scariest pose imaginable.
