Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a three-year-old boy was allegedly thrown into a crocodile enclosure at a zoo.

The boy was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries and is in a critical but stable condition.

A 30-year-old man from Norfolk has been arrested. Police have said they do not believe he was known to the child.
