In the Sumy community, warehouses containing residues of sulfur-containing substances are on fire as a result of a Russian airstrike.

According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Sumy region reported this on Telegram.

“As a result of enemy airstrikes on the outskirts of the Sumy community, a fire broke out in warehouses where residues of sulfur-containing substances were stored,” the statement reads.

The State Emergency Service emphasized that there is no threat to the population. However, they cautioned that the smell of sulfur may be noticeable in the air.
