Vodafone Australia has restored its mobile network following a major network outage this morning.
The outage, on the morning of Thursday, June 18, impacted customers across the country, with ABC reporting that it affected millions of users and lasted for several hours.

The telco traced the cause of the outage to a fault at one of its network hubs that occurred at around 8am.
Users noted that their devices defaulted to SOS mode during the outage, as handsets failed to connect to Vodafone's network.
