Ukraine will continue carrying out retaliatory strikes against Russia. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, these actions are not only a response to attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities but also a means of pressuring the aggressor state toward peace.

The head of state made the remarks while speaking to journalists in Brussels, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.

Zelensky said that Ukraine did not want the war and had never wanted it, adding that everyone knew this, including Ukraine's partners. He stated that Ukraine certainly did not want to see itself burn because of the enemy, but warned that if Ukraine burned, Moscow would burn as well. He emphasized that it was time to end the aggression and bring the war to an end.

He stressed that if Russian leader Vladimir Putin did not want to end the war, Ukraine would not remain passive and would respond.
