Katie Price's younger sister, Sophie, has hit out at Lee's new look after he emerged from prison with a full head of hair, despite inmates having their heads shaved10:42, 18 Jun 2026Updated 10:42, 18 Jun 2026Katie Price's sister has slammed Lee Andrews' new look. Days after his release from Dubai's notorious Al-Awir prison, where inmates have their heads shaved to prevent a lice outbreak, he had a new head of hair.‌Lee had gone missing last month, with Katie fearing her husband had been kidnapped, but he had actually been locked behind bars due to unpaid debts. Last week, however, he was released, and he returned to social media this week with a dramatic new look.‌In a video shared on his Instagram page, Lee looked dramatically different and claimed that he hadn't been locked up for fraud. Now, he has 14 days to raise £69,000, or he faces being locked up again.‌Speaking in a teaser episode of next week's edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, Kate's younger sister, Sophie, said of Lee's new look: "No, it's not my vibe."Katie added: "No, but not everyone can pull off short hair." Sophie replied: "Ridiculous, f***ing liberty." Speaking in his first video since being released, Lee said: "I was taken close to the Qatar Omani border at gunpoint and was captured by men with assault rifles." However, Qatar and Oman do not share a border.‌He continued: "They did slap me around a little bit, the little s**ts. I was hand-tied, shackled and also with a hood over my head. From there I was taken to a black site and I had no use of my phone. From what I know, it was an extended arm of the national guard, and that’s all I can reveal at the moment."Andrews also claimed that he had signed disclaimers with state security, meaning he is prohibited from sharing any details. His debts include 266 Dirhams (£54,000) to a care rental company, Rotanna Star, dating back to 2022.The second case, which resulted in Lee's arrest, is for 74,817.50 Dirhams (£15,000), which he allegedly owes to a United Arab Emirates law firm, likely unpaid legal fees. Due to Lee's debts, he would have to inform the Dubai CID (Criminal Investigation Department) – but he is not an "actively wanted" man.‌Lee, who claimed to be a multi-millionaire, has previously boasted about his alleged wealth and his ownership of a fleet of high-end cars, including a Ferrari he had bought for Katie.Representatives for Andrews petitioned for the judge to release him so that he could access his bank accounts to pay off the remaining debts. In a statement, representatives said: "The judgment debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt."He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount." Katie didn't pay a single penny towards his release from prison, despite flying out to Dubai to assist her husband.Article continues belowWhile Lee was behind bars, Katie confirmed that he did, in fact, have a travel ban, preventing him from leaving the United Arab Emirates – despite her husband continuously denying this.Like this story?
