A former Big Brother star opened up about her terrifying experience after buying fake diet jabs.09:44, 18 Jun 2026Former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has issued a warning after she nearly died. The reality star has openly spoken about her experience taking fake diet injections, and has revealed the severe consequences she faced.Aisleyne rose to fame on Big Brother in 2006, alongside Nikki Grahame and series winner Pete Bennett. She’s since continued her life in the limelight, appearing on the likes of Celebrity Coach Trip and Celebrity Botched Bodies. The star appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday (18 June) with hosts Ranvir Singh and Richard Madeley, where she revealed how terrifying her experience was.Aisleyne explained she found out about the injections on TikTok, and a friend had ordered them through a WhatsApp group, paying around £100 for a month’s injection.“It was pre-mixed, it came in a syringe in a box with no instructions, and I foolishly took it,” she said.Aisleyne injected it into her stomach, saying that although she was worried, she decided to do it because she was “in a really dark place”.She went on: “That’s what I’m concerned about with other people. If you’re vulnerable, which I was at the time, I’d gone through a lot of grief in a short space of time.“I wanted a quick fix, something to help me physically and mentally feel better and I thought that was it.”Aisleyne urged the government to “do more” to crack down on fake injections, before sharing her systems. She said: “It was awful, I was in bed for three to four days, I want to say, comatose, in and out of consciousness.“Bags of sick to be quite frank all by bed, I couldn’t even crawl to the toilet.“It was a dark, scary place."Aisleyne said she didn’t call 999, going on to say she “felt a bit sick” after the first injection but “carried on”, but the symptoms “really hit” after the second injection straight away.Sharing a statement from TikTok, Ranvir said on the programme: “TikTok says it is clear it does not allow trading, marketing or providing access to regulated, prohibited or high-risk goods and services. This includes regulated substances such as products marketed for weight.”Aisleyne warned: “Do you really want to put yourself through all of that? You could die. Go to the gym.”This comes after a nightmare cosmetic surgery Aisleyne faced in 2016 during her appearance on Celebrity Botched Bodies, where she was left in agony after trying to get veneers.“The pain was excruciating. He tortured me. I felt like I was just a guinea pig for him,” she previously said, as per The Mirror.“I looked at my face, I didn’t recognise who I was.”After undergoing treatment on the programme, she said: “I’d say my life has improved since the treatment because my confidence is back. I’m happy to smile, I don’t feel so self conscious. I don’t cover my mouth when I’m laughing anymore.”Article continues belowGood Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX
