The Kerala High Court has issued notice to the five accused in the alleged assault on Youth Congress- Kerala Students Union (KSU) activists during the Nava Kerala Sadas vehicle rally in Alappuzha.The notice is issued in a petition moved by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is enquiring into the assault, against the anticipatory bail granted to the accused by the District and Sessions Court, Alappuzha.Also Read : Attack on KSU, Youth Congress activists: former CM’s security team members granted anticipatory bailThe accused are police officials who were part of the security detail of the rally led by former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in 2023.
