The search has intensified after weeks without major breakthroughs, prompting investigators and supporters to issue fresh public appeals. Hillyard was last seen near her Oakland home in March. Her disappearance has drawn significant attention across the community, with family, friends, volunteers, and law enforcement continuing to search for answers. Amy was last seen on March 25 while walking her dog near the 500 block of Radnor Road in Oakland. According to witness accounts, she was wearing a tan-colored top and matching pants when she disappeared. As the search continues, support from friends, local residents, and people following her story has helped raise significant funds through a GoFundMe campaign. "Amy’s friends and volunteers have done a remarkable job building maps, going door-to-door, searching park trails. We are using the information they gathered to launch a more focused search to discover where Amy went after she disappeared from her home." She is described as standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, and having blonde hair and hazel eyes.Investigators are specifically seeking surveillance footage, including Ring camera recordings, from areas surrounding Cleveland Heights, the Park Boulevard corridor, the MacArthur Boulevard vicinity, Trestle Glen, and Crocker Highlands as they continue efforts to gather potential evidence and identify new leads in the case.In a statement provided to KRON4 on April 22, Oakland police said investigators had found no evidence pointing to foul play in Amy Hillyard’s disappearance and had no significant updates to announce at the time."At present, there is no evidence of abduction, kidnapping, or any other crime associated with her disappearance," said the Oakland Police Department. "The case remains a Missing Person At Risk."
