The Princess of Wales was sunshine personified as she made her return to Royal Ascot for the first time since her cancer diagnosis.Catherine, 44, sported a bright yellow £1,095 outfit from Roksanda, that she debuted back in 2022 for an official visit to Jamaica.She paired it with a matching wide-brimmed Pomona hat by Jane Taylor Millinery, while Prince William pinned yellow flowers to his lapel to complement his wife's ensemble.Her outfit was completed with nude Gianvito Rossi heels, an Anya Hindmarch clutch, Queen Elizabeth's diamond earrings and Princess Diana's pearl necklace, worn as a bracelet.The future queen looked delighted to be back, warmly greeting family and friends. Her mother, Carole Middleton, and sister-in-law, Alizee Thevenet, were also there, as was Zara Tindall for the second day running.The Princess of Wales last attended the Berkshire race meet – one of the highlights of the royal social calendar – in 2023.The following year she was undergoing chemotherapy and last year she cancelled at the last minute, having publicly warned that her road to recovery would see ups and downs.On Wednesday, however, she was all smiles as she joined the King and Queen – and, of course, her husband – for the traditional carriage procession down from Windsor Castle to the racecourse.
