Oman-based freelance marketplace Zameeli has secured an undisclosed Sharia-compliant financing facility from Sharakah, Oman's SME development company, to support its growth and expansion plans.
Founded in 2023 by Tariq Al Habsi and Mahmoud Tantora, Zameeli connects SMEs with Omani freelancers across services including design, marketing, videography, content creation, and social media management, enabling businesses to access specialised talent on demand.
The company will use the financing to enhance its technology capabilities, improve operational efficiency and user experience, expand its SME customer base and freelancer network, and support marketing initiatives and geographic expansion across Oman.
