It's the kind of thing that happens to everyone from time to time. You forget something inside your home, so you park outside and run in to grab it. This almost never ends with the hassle that one woman says she experienced at her apartment complex.
She claims that she parked outside her apartment for one minute after forgetting her key card for the parking garage. When she returned, her car was already getting booted—twice.
TikTok creator Kristin (@kristinvitt_) posted a video from the scene of the double booting. “If I could tell you anywhere not to live, it’s my apartment complex,” she says to start the video. “I’m fully crashing out in my apartment complex. So obviously they double booted my car.”
This isn’t the first time Kristin has experienced the double boot at her apartment complex, she says.
“Just to give you some back story,” she says. “Literally the day I was signing my lease to move here, while I was in the ‘future resident’ parking space? They double booted my car. And I had to wait two hours for them to come take the boots off.”
