New Delhi: Supreme Court on Wednesday took a serious view of an accusation that an urgent case filed over 10 days ago had not yet been listed due to a lapse by the SC registry.A vacation bench of CJI Surya Kant and justice V Mohana was informed by an advocate that an urgent matter which was filed on June 8 had not been listed yet as certain papers were allegedly misplaced by the registry.Taking a serious note of the submission, CJI Kant orally remarked: "If our registry is misplacing urgent files, then do you think I will leave it at that?" He added that he will take up the matter and fix accountability.CJI Kant directed that a formal complaint be immediately submitted by the advocate-on-record, assuring that he will take up the matter.
