Donald Trump says he could have continued the US-Israel war on Iran, but he did not “want to see economic catastrophe”, suggesting that the memorandum of understanding with Iran was for the global good.
However, the US president warns the war will resume if the next stage of negotiations does not “get done in 60 days” after the official signing of the document on Friday in Switzerland.
