Mint Cannabis Partners With Moapa Band of Paiutes to Open New Nevada Dispensary

Grand opening celebration planned for Fourth of July weekend alongside the tribe’s annual “Rock the Sky” celebration featuring live music, fireworks, food trucks, and carnival rides

Mint Cannabis partnered with the Moapa Band of Paiutes Tribal Government to open a new 3,500-square-foot dispensary at the Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza, located at 1 Lincoln St. (Interstate 15, Exit 75) on the Moapa River Indian Reservation, northeast of Las Vegas near Valley of Fire State Park.

The dispensary officially opens on June 20 in the former casino space. It will operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. It will transition to 24-hour operations in the future. An official grand opening will take place Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in conjunction with the Moapa Band of Paiutes’ annual Rock the Sky music festival that weekend. The Mint will donate $1 from every pre-roll sold on July 3 and 4 to Moapa Native Veterans, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4:20 pm on July 4.

The partnership marks a significant collaboration between Mint Cannabis and the federally recognized tribe, bringing expanded retail opportunities, economic growth and a new destination experience for residents and travelers visiting Southern Nevada. The Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza will undergo a major transformation, including a remodeled exterior, a brand-new restaurant called “The Taco Spot” that will serve breakfast burritos all day, and a fully upgraded convenience store with expanded offerings.
