The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation presents a tribute exhibition to French sculptor Germaine Richier at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Andros island, highlighting her influential 20th century work. Spanning her career, the show titled “Conversations” traces her evolution from academic portrait busts to expressive hybrid figures blending human, animal and natural forms. Richier, a major European sculptor, is known for reimagining sculpture through emotionally charged, fragmented works that explore survival, mythology and inner strength and human resilience, survival and hope themes. General admission to the museum costs €8.
