Israeli settlers have intensified attacks in the West Bank, setting fire to two mosques north of Ramallah and defacing them with "racist graffiti", according to local witnesses. Settlers set fire to a mosque in Jaljilya and another in the nearby town of Mazare Al-Nubani, causing material damage to both structures. The Palestinian Ministry of Religious Affairs condemned the attacks, calling them a serious violation of places of worship and a breach of international laws protecting religious sites, constituting a dangerous escalation and a provocation as they target sacred places and religious symbols, both Islamic and Christian.

The ministry held the Israeli authorities fully responsible for the attacks and their repercussions, urging the international community and human rights organizations to act to protect places of worship and bring those responsible to justice. In another incident, four Palestinians were injured during a settler attack on a town south of Nablus, after being assaulted, and several vehicles were damaged.
