In the final communiqué of their summit, the leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) industrialized nations expressed their support for the agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic, calling it a major opportunity to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to limit Tehran’s missile and regional activities.

The leaders of the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom also declared their readiness to participate in the implementation process of the agreement.

In another part of the statement, the leaders emphasized the need to maintain freedom of navigation and the unobstructed passage of vessels through international waterways, describing it as one of the core pillars of global trade.
