Saudi construction technology company WakeCap has acquired Singapore-based Frontline, an AI-powered construction planning software provider, in a move aimed at expanding its capabilities from real-time jobsite monitoring into project planning and optimisation.
Founded in 2017 by Hassan Albalawi and Ishita Sood, WakeCap specialises in wearable tech solutions that provide real-time monitoring for contractors and project managers, reducing risks and improving efficiency on construction projects.
Frontline develops AI-driven construction planning tools that help project teams optimise schedules through simulations and stress testing, serving contractors across industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects.
The acquisition will allow WakeCap to create an integrated intelligence platform that links project plans with real-time field execution data, enabling construction teams to identify deviations, improve decision-making, and optimise project delivery.
Last November, WakeCap acquired Brazil’s Trackfy, a workforce safety and operational intelligence platform serving major industrial clients.
