The person who purchased an “as is” Connecticut home at auction discovered skeletal human remains inside — though police do not believe foul play was involved, officials said Tuesday.State troopers were called to Stanwich Lane in Burlington on Sunday after the new homeowner made the macabre discovery, according to a Connecticut State Police statement.The home had been purchased “ ‘as is’ at a foreclosure auction,” police said.The medical examiner has not yet determined a cause of death or identified the remains.Police said “there is no indication of anything suspicious and no indication of any criminal aspect.” “This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public at this time,” police added.
