Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba has stated that he will cooperate with the investigation concerning the legality of the origin of assets acquired by him.

Kuleba made the statement in a comment to Ukrinform.

"In connection with the information regarding the filing of a lawsuit, I would like to note that I am the defendant in this case and that I respect the procedures established by law, as well as the authority of law enforcement and judicial bodies. At the same time, I believe it is important to emphasize that this concerns a civil court proceeding regarding the assessment of the legality of the origin of assets, not a criminal investigation or the bringing of charges. Final conclusions in the case should be made exclusively by the court after a comprehensive examination of all evidence and circumstances," Kuleba said.
