Vice President JD Vance joined The View on Tuesday as the first Republican vice president to sit on the show. He noted his previous criticisms about Trump, but maintained that a lot of the things said about the president aren’t true. Concha said the hosts continuously interrupted Vance, and agreed with Fox News host Sean Hannity that every time it seemed Vance was getting to an answer, the show took a break of some sort.
“Overall, these ladies, so-called ‘ladies,’ wanted a food fight. They wanted some screaming match to go viral, and JD Vance is simply too smart, too mature, and too charming in this case, to get down in the mud,” Concha said on Fox News’s Hannity Tuesday.
The View co-host Sunny Hostin said, “black history is being erased from public spaces.” Vance fired back, “That is not right.”
Concha said co-host Whoopi Goldberg “stammered for several awkward seconds” as she tried to think of specific examples.
“He [Vance] looked like the mature adult, and everybody else there looked, well, insane,” Concha said.
