Manchester United are interested in Crysencio Summerville as they consider a double raid on West Ham. The Netherlands international is on a list of options as United look to add a left winger to Michael Carrick’s squad for next season. Interest is at an early stage but United are also keen on Mateus Fernandes as they are looking at the relegated Hammers for part of their summer business. Summerville, who scored his first goal for his country in the 2-2 draw with Japan at the World Cup, cost West Ham £25m when he moved from Leeds two years ago. He was named the Championship’s player of the year in 2023-24 and scored in five consecutive games for West Ham in January and February, though it was not enough to keep them up. United will potentially have one left winger returning to Old Trafford, with Barcelona not taking up their option to buy Marcus Rashford so far, though the England international may be sold.
