Win or lose the Liberal leadership, Navdeep Bains says he will run in the next Ontario election.
Bains, a former federal cabinet minister who quit a lucrative job as chief corporate affairs officer at Rogers Communications last month to jump into the Nov. 21 leadership contest, said he would be a Grit candidate whenever Premier Doug Ford calls the next election expected in 2029 or 2030.
