The Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters has condemned Tuesday's strikes by the Israeli military on southern Lebanon and threatened to retaliate.

The Khatam-al Anbiya Headquarters, which is responsible for coordinating the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, announced in a statement that the Israeli military has violated the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times over the past two days and continued its attacks following Donald Trump's announcement of the end of the war.

The statement warned that if the Israeli military does not cease its operations in southern Lebanon, it must expect a "harsh response" from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This warning was issued after Lebanese officials announced that Israeli strikes on the south of the country had left at least four people dead. Lebanon's official news agency reported that Israeli drones targeted two vehicles in the town of Mayfadoun and another vehicle near the town of Chqif in the Nabatieh region, killing four people and wounding several others, according to preliminary figures.

The Israeli military said in a statement that it carried out a strike in southern Lebanon after identifying a "suspicious vehicle" in an area where its forces were operating, though it did not specify the exact location of the operation.
