Sarah Mould knows that if she ever decided to go on a world tour, she would be able to visit her former lodgers in countries as far flung as Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India and the USA.

The 70-year-old, who lives in a four-bedroom detached house on the outskirts of Norwich, has had more than 30 lodgers over the last 25 years and says the only continent she is missing a lodger from is Antarctica.

“It has been so fascinating to live with people from so many different countries over the last 25 years,” she said. “I’ve had people from a huge assortment of countries.

“Sadly, my arthritis has got too bad to think of doing it now, but if I was doing it, I could visit my ex-lodgers all over the world.”
