The Tunisia FA is moving swiftly to appoint a permanent Manager following the sacking of Sabri Lamouchi, Monday, at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Lamouchi was given the axe after his side’s 5-1 defeat to Sweden in their opening group match on Monday.

Since then, the Carthage Eagles have been linked with several coaches including Herve Renard who is now considered to be the frontrunner for the vacant role.

According to multiple reports Tunisia FA Technical Director, Mondher Kebaier, was expected to step in on interim basis.

However, Brila.net has gathered that Renard is favored to resume the role before Tunisia’s next game, against Japan on June 21 at the Monterrey Stadium.
