OTTAWA — The Star has learned details of the nearly dozen Canada-U.S. trade irritants at the heart of intense, high-stakes talks with President Donald Trump, two weeks before the North American free trade pact comes up for review.
The United States’ list of cross-border demands includes complaints about specific trade irritants and, more broadly, sectors where the Trump administration expects Ottawa to make proposals to help protect American and continental economic and national security.
