UK quantum computing firm Orca has deployed one of its systems in Japan.

The company this week announced the successful deployment of its PT Series photonic quantum computer to a major enterprise customer in Japan, in partnership with Toyota Tsusho Corporation.
The quantum computer was deployed in less than one week into a live enterprise environment. The PT-2 system will be integrated into cloud services supporting the enterprise’s global operations.
The system will be upgraded to Orca’s new PT-3 platform later this year, delivering increased processing capability.
