The club is very much in tune to the league office, local authorities here, and we’ve had several meetings. Clearly, from an ownership standpoint, head coach, organizationally, there’s a bar we have and an expectation we have that’s very high. We’ll consider all that as we continue to gather information.”Cooper was arrested Thursday on suspicion of violating a protective order stemming from a domestic incident one week earlier. The 28-year-old was originally arrested on June 4 and initially faced charges of domestic violence and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Last week, however, the district attorney in Douglas County (Co.) added charges of felony assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault for knowingly or recklessly causing bodily harm.
