After Valve posted a hopeful, yet vague, update on its exciting new console, new leaks point to an official Steam Machine launch in late June.

The Steam Machine is set to blow the Steam Deck out of the water, as it should. It’s a standalone PC-like conglomerate of hardware meant to directly compete with consoles like the PS5 or Xbox series of devices. Steam has only given as much as a vague summer window for its launch, but if recent leaks are to be believed, that date is much closer than expected.

A post on Twitter/X by @HardwareSteam claims the Steam Machine will launch sometimes around June 23, though the source doesn’t seem confident the date is exact. There’s a grace period of about one day, so Valve’s PC/console could launch on June 22 or June 23, or “another day between June 22 and July 1.”
