The five-year-old, trained by Ed Walker and ridden by Kieran Shoemark, came from the back of the pack to win by half a length. The victory marked only Ten Bob Tony's third race over a mile, having previously been considered a seven-furlong specialist. The favourite, Notable Speech, who was sent off at 9-4, never threatened to challenge for the win.
