Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad has ordered the expunging of “indecent and obscene” remarks from an Opposition lawmaker’s budget speech in parliament.
During Tuesday’s general debate on the 2026–27 budget, Jamaat-e-Islami Nilphamari-1 MP Md Abdus Sattar used the terms “sieve” and “needle” while describing exchanges between the government and the Opposition.
