The trailer of Arshad Warsi’s upcoming cyber crime-comedy series, Pritam and Pedro, was unveiled by the makers on Monday (June 15, 2026). Created, co-written, edited and produced by Rajkumar Hirani, the series is directed by Avinash Arun, and also stars Vir Hirani, Vikrant Massey and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.The trailer introduces Arshad as Pedro Gonsalves, a tough cop, who likes to chase deadly gangsters, but he is transferred for desk work in the cyber cell. That’s where he meets Pritam, a smart techie and the two team up to find the kidnapped son of a minister, who transferred Pedro in cyber department. However, there are deadly mishaps along the way. Vikrant plays a cunning cyber criminal who is involved in the kidnapping. The series promises to be a thrilling cyber crime-comedy with the trademark wit of Hirani and Arshad’s comic timing.The series is inspired by the books ‘Hidden Files’ and ‘Return of the Trojan Horse’ by Amit Dubey. It has been written by Hirani along with Abhijat Joshi and Suyash Trivedi with dialogues by Pranjal Saxena, Shashank Kanwar and Hirani. Amit Satyaveer Singh has been credited for story ideation and development while director Avinash has also shot the series.Pritam and Pedro will be released on JioHotstar on July 3.
