Amazon has pledged a $10 billion investment in its upcoming data center campus in Montgomery County, Missouri.
Announced on June 15, this will also include a $3 million investment in supporting local emergency dispatches, $3m in community programs, and $1m for a new "community gathering space."

Amazon is working with the local utility, Ameren Missouri, to ensure that costs are not passed on to other ratepayers. The company has also invested in a 138MW renewable energy project in Missouri.
The data center campus, dubbed Project Green, is set for 1,000 acres in New Florence, Montgomery County, in the northeast quadrant of the Interstate 70 and Highway 19 interchange.
