This was incorrect and we apologise for any confusion caused.A man has suffered serious multiple injuries and has been airlifted to hospital after an incident understood to have been on a construction site in Kent.Officers from Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics were called to the scene off Roman Way in Strood at around 4pm on Monday, June 15, following the emergency call.A report had been filed of a man in need of medical attention in the area. Paramedics treated the man for injuries to his pelvis and femur.An air ambulance was called to the scene and the man was airlifted to a London hospital for further care, Kent Live reports.There were no criminal offences identified by police and the air ambulance left the area shortly after 5pm. No details have been revealed about how the man was injured.A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed that multiple crews attended the incident as well as the Air Ambulance Charity with the man taken to Kings College Hospital in London for treatment.They said: “SECAmb were called at approx. 16:00 yesterday (15/06/26) to reports of a person in need of medical attention on Roman Way in Strood, Rochester.Article continues below"Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated the patient for injuries to their pelvis and femur before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex.
