Cambridgeshire Police are to deploy live facial recognition in Peterborough city centre for the second time on 19 June, as the UK government seeks to accelerate the use of the technology.
Police did not confirm the specific location where LFR would be deployed.
The technology is typically used on dates that are announced in advance in areas that are clearly marked.
