The move has reignited concerns among migrant communities amid the country's long history of xenophobic attacks targeting foreign nationals, including Nigerians.
In a notice circulated to parents and guardians and seen by SaharaReporters, Curro requested all foreign learners enrolled in its schools to provide valid immigration documentation in line with requirements of South Africa's Department of Home Affairs.
