Study: Bio-interventional scleral reinforcement limits endothelial cell loss

WASHINGTON — A scleral reinforcement procedure resulted in minimal endothelial cell loss, according to a study presented at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting. Arsham Sheybani, MD, ABO, presented data on the endothelial health of eyes that underwent bio-interventional scleral reinforcement of cyclodialysis cleft with CycloPen (Iantrek).
