An organiser for the Iranian-New Zealander community says any peace deal with the Islamic Republic is unacceptable.
Mehrdad Soltanifar was hopeful the conflict between the US and Iran would lead to a regime change, but a peace deal announced on Monday has signalled an apparent end to the three-month war.
"Any agreement, any agreement, with the Islamic Republic feels like a slap in our face to all of us and the Iranian people," Soltanifar said.
