Finnish retail and wholesale group Kesko has agreed to acquire Dahl's operations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark from French building materials company Saint-Gobain for €1.2 billion, marking the largest acquisition in the company's history.
The transaction will significantly expand Kesko's presence in the Nordic technical wholesale market and strengthen its position in heating, plumbing, infrastructure and building services products.
Kesko said the acquisition includes Dahl's businesses in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, which generated combined revenue of almost €2.1 billion last year.
The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in early 2027.
