Details: Von der Leyen said the EU's €90 billion loan package covers two-thirds of Ukraine's budgetary needs for 2026 and 2027. The European Union will require additional support from its G7 partners to cover the remaining third.
"Our €90 billion loan package covers two-thirds of Ukraine's financing needs for this year and for the next year. The first disbursements will come still this month, and for the remaining third we need Ukraine's partners to step up. This will be a topic at this summit," the European Commission president said.
