EXCLUSIVE: Capital Breakfast hosts Sian Welby and Jordan North have voiceover roles in the new Toy Story 5 film, and they can't quite believe it15:31, 15 Jun 2026Sian Welby and Jordan North say they are still pinching themselves after landing roles in Disney Pixar's Toy Story 5.The Capital Breakfast presenters, 39 and 36 respectively, lend their voices alongside Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack - who at the London premiere made her first red carpet appearance in 11 years, in the highly anticipated animated sequel.Toy Story 5, the fifth instalment in the beloved Pixar franchise, is released on June 19 and sees Woody, Buzz and the gang facing a new challenge as technology competes for children's attention.The official synopsis teases: "Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang's jobs get exponentially harder when they go head to head with this all-new threat to playtime."Reflecting on the experience at the UK Gala screening in London on Sunday, North admitted the whole thing still felt "not real".Welby added: "They are little roles but it was so incredible the way that they all let us feel like movie stars for the day. You go into a room and there's a big screen with your clip and then you have to voice over as the mouth moves on screen."The Nottingham-born DJ voices Inflatable Flamingo, a character she describes as someone who "used to be at all the pool parties, having all the fun and now she's a little bit deflated", while North plays a "grumpy" Garden Gnome.Laughing, Welby added: "The bit that I'm most proud of, listen out for the slurp when we have a cup of tea. We were thrilled it made the cut!"It was a full house at Odeon Leicester Square, where celebrities including Hannah Cooper-Dommett and Joel Dommett, Lewis Burton and Lottie Tomlinson, Claire Sweeney, Leigh Francis and Myleene Klass, gathered for an early look at the film.Many fans queued for photographs with costumed versions of fan favourites Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear before taking their seats.Also stepping out on the red carpet was Kelsey Parker, who made her first public appearance since announcing she is expecting.Less than a year ago, The Mum's The Word podcast host, 36, and her partner Will Lindsay faced heartbreak when their son Phoenix was stillborn.
