Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, has dismissed reports alleging that a court ordered his arrest over claims of certificate forgery, describing them as false, misleading, and politically motivated.
Nnaji, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Enugu State in 2027, said the reports were part of a sustained campaign to damage his reputation and political standing.
In a statement issued over the weekend and signed by his spokesperson, Dr. Robert Ngwu, the former minister insisted that he is neither in hiding nor under investigation by any law enforcement agency.
