Following Harper Beckham's failed attempt to visit her brother, which Brooklyn's spokesperson called 'choreographed', questions remain about whether the family rift will ever be healed12:00, 15 Jun 2026Fans are unsure the Beckham family feud will ever end after Harper's failed visit to estranged brother Brooklyn's house. The 14-year-old attempted to visit her brother over the weekend, but was unable to get into his house, as he was not in Los Angeles, but instead in New York.Harper arrived at the LA property just hours after she joined her other brothers, Romeo and Cruz, attended a ceremony celebrating their father David's new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The teenager was pictured wearing the exact same pink dress and cardigan as she walked up to the property with a letter. After pictures of Harper trying to visit the home circulated online, Brooklyn's spokesperson said to press: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras." Brooklyn was also thought to have been made "uncomfortable" by Harper's attempt to see him.Fans were divided about the recent events. Some said they felt Brooklyn had "swapped Brand Beckham for Brand Peltz" and was doing "absolutely nothing on his own".Lorraine also discussed what happened on her TV show and said that people shouldn't be "blaming a little girl" like Harper for what was going on.Others agreed with Brooklyn, stating that they thought it was a publicity stunt. One said: "Definitely staged that, should of all be done on the quiet, but the Beckhams seeking publicity again."Another said that the fact that photographers were there was "solidifying" Brooklyn's prior claims that his parents, David and Victoria, use their children for publicity. They said: "Why are there paps there for this?? Like this is just solidifying Brooklyns reasonings."In January, Brooklyn posted a scathing statement to Instagram where he accused his parents of trying to control him. He said: "Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family."The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."Later in the statement, he added: "My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family 'love' is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations."Brooklyn also said: ""The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief."As of yet, the Beckham family, including Harper, have not addressed her attempt to visit Brooklyn. Mirror has previously gone for comment.Article continues belowFor more of the latest showbiz news and gossip, follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
