Two Russian drones deliberately targeted the part of the city where the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located.
According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Telegram following his visit to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal, which were damaged by the Russian attack.
“First responders have put out the fires in Kyiv – at the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal. I am grateful to all the services working at the sites of the strikes, and to everyone who is helping. It has been confirmed that two Russian drones deliberately targeted the part of the city where the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located,” Zelensky noted.
He added that as of now, 35 people are known to have been injured in Kyiv. Across the country, 53 people have been wounded, and 11 are known to have been killed in this massive Russian strike. The president expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
He noted that he is in constant communication with partners regarding the consequences of this Russian attack and the necessary response.
