Kuwait revoked the citizenship of 2,192 people via eight decrees, with Decree No 92 accounting for 1,594 cases.
Names of those stripped, and affected dependants, were published in the official gazette without specifying legal grounds.
Authorities are conducting an ongoing nationality review that has withdrawn thousands of citizenships over the past two years.
Nearly 50,000 people lost citizenship in 2025, a sweeping process officials say leaves “no one exempt.”
