Emergency crews in Kyiv are working to extinguish fires at the roof of the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and at the National Cultural and Arts Complex Mystetskyi Arsenal, both of which were damaged in a Russian attack.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) reported this on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

At the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, firefighters are continuing to deal with the aftermath of strikes, with a fire affecting the roof of the Dormition Cathedral covering an area of around 800 square meters.

A separate fire also broke out at the Mystetskyi Arsenal Cultural and Arts Complex, spreading across approximately 1,000 square meters.

Emergency services, municipal teams, and specialized SES equipment are operating at both sites.
